1. 1 jar (12 ounces) peanut butter -
3. 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar -
8. 3/4 teaspoon corn syrup -
9. 4-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats -
11. 1/2 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips -
How to cook deliciously - Soft Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
1. Stage
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and sugars until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in baking soda, vanilla and corn syrup. Stir in oats, chips and toffee bits.
2. Stage
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Cool 1 minute before removing from pans to wire racks.
