1. Creamy peanut butter - 6 tablespoons
2. Low-sodium soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
3. Sambal oelek (chile paste), or more to taste - 2 teaspoons
4. Rice vinegar - 2 teaspoons
5. Grated ginger root - 1 teaspoon
6. Garlic, grated - 1 clove
7. Red pepper flakes - ¼ teaspoon
8. Water, or more as needed - ¼ cup
9. Lean ground beef - 1 pound
10. Green onions, thinly sliced - 3
11. Garlic, finely minced - 1 large clove
12. Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
13. Sambal oelek, or more to taste - 2 teaspoons
14. Ground cardamom - ½ teaspoon
15. Finely minced ginger root - ½ teaspoon
16. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
17. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon
18. Napa cabbage - 12 leaves
19. Fresh lime wedges (Optional) - 12
20. Chopped peanuts - ⅓ cup

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Ground Beef Cabbage Wraps with Peanut Sauce

1. Stage

Whisk peanut butter, soy sauce, sambal oelek, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes for sauce together in a small bowl. Whisk in small amount of water slowly until well combined and you reach your desired consistency. Set aside.

Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, green onions, and garlic for about 5 minutes. Stir in rice vinegar, sambal oelek, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Divide the ground beef mixture evenly among the 12 cabbage leaves. Top each with a dollop of the peanut sauce, a squeeze of a lime wedge, and sprinkle with peanuts. Fold up the sides of the leaves and serve.
