Ingredients for - Spicy Persimmon Chutney

1. Cider vinegar - 1 ½ cups
2. Chopped onion - 1 cup
3. Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and chopped - 1 large
4. Golden raisins - 1 cup
5. White sugar - ¾ cup
6. Lemon juice - ¼ cup
7. Green chile pepper, seeded and minced - 1
8. Minced fresh ginger root - 1 tablespoon
9. Lemon zest - 1 tablespoon
10. Ground coriander seed - 1 teaspoon
11. Ground cloves - ⅛ teaspoon
12. Fuyu persimmons, peeled and chopped - 4

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Persimmon Chutney

1. Stage

Combine cider vinegar, onion, apple, raisins, sugar, lemon juice, green chile, ginger, lemon zest, coriander, and cloves in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until mixture thickens, stirring frequently, about 25 minutes. Add persimmons and simmer until the persimmons are tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Cover and refrigerate.
