1. 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries -
2. 1/4 cup sugar -
3. 1 tablespoon cornstarch -
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract -

6. 1 cup old-fashioned oats -
7. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour -
8. 1/2 cup sugar -
9. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar -
10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
11. 1/4 teaspoon salt -
12. 1/2 cup butter, melted -
13. Vanilla ice cream, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Strawberry Crisp

1. Stage

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F and combining the strawberries, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla in a large bowl.

2. Stage

Transfer the berry mixture to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. In another large bowl, combine the oats, flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir in the melted butter and sprinkle the topping over the berries.

  Bake until the filling is bubbly and the topping is lightly browned, for 30 to 35 minutes.

Remove the warm crisp from the oven and serve with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
