1. Butter, divided - 1 cup
2. Fresh lima beans - 2 cups
3. Salt - ½ teaspoon
4. Fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 4
5. White sugar - 2 teaspoons
6. Fresh corn kernels, cut from the cob - 4 ears

How to cook deliciously - Succotash

1. Stage

Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in lima beans and salt, and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

2. Stage

Meanwhile, in a separate saucepan heat tomatoes, sugar and remaining 1/2 cup butter. Cook until tomatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.

3. Stage

Stir tomatoes into lima beans and add corn; cook 10 minutes more.
