6. Whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
7. Frozen chopped spinach 1 (16 ounce) package
8. Tomato paste 2 tablespoons
9. Garlic powder 4 ¼ teaspoons
10. Dried parsley 4 teaspoons
11. Salt ½ teaspoon
12. Ground black pepper 1 teaspoon
13. Dried basil 1 teaspoon
14. Uncooked elbow macaroni 1 cup
15. Grated Parmesan cheese ½ cup
16. Canned garbanzo beans, drained 1 cup
17. Heavy cream 4 cups
18. Grated Parmesan cheese for topping ½ cup

In a large stock pot over medium heat, stir and cook onions in butter until soft. Add broth, mixed vegetables, kidney beans, tomatoes, spinach, and tomato paste; simmer gently for 1 1/2 hours.

Using a slotted spoon, remove about half of the vegetables to a blender or food processor, reserving liquid in stock pot. Puree the vegetables until smooth and return them to stock pot.
