2. Chopped onion 1 cup
3. Garlic, chopped 1 clove
4. Carrots, chopped 3
5. Chopped celery 1 ½ cups
6. Condensed beef broth 2 (10.5 ounce) cans
7. Red wine 2 cups
8. Tomato juice 2 cups
9. Diced cooked beef 2 cups
10. Salt to taste 2 cups
11. Ground black pepper to taste 2 cups
12. Margarine, softened 2 tablespoons
13. Eggs 2
14. All-purpose flour 6 tablespoons
15. Salt ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Beef and Wine Soup with Dumplings

1 . Stage

In a large pot, saute onion, garlic, carrots, and celery in 2 tablespoons butter until soft, about 5 to 6 minutes. Stir in broth, wine, tomato juice, and beef. Simmer covered for 15 to 20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

2 . Stage

In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, eggs, flour, and salt until smooth. Drop mixture into soup by small teaspoonfuls. Cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
