1. Chicken leg quarters, skin removed - 2
2. Water, or as needed to cover - 5 cups
3. Green cabbage, chopped - ½ small head
4. Carrots, peeled and sliced - 2
5. Celery, sliced - 2 stalks
6. Onion, sliced - 1
7. Bay leaves - 2
8. Chopped fresh parsley - 3 tablespoons
9. Garlic, minced - 1 clove
10. Ground thyme - 1 pinch
11. Dried marjoram - 1 pinch
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch
13. Dill pickles, thinly sliced - 4 small
14. All-purpose flour - 1 tablespoon
15. Sour cream - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Authentic Polish Pickle Soup (Zupa Orgorkowa)

1. Stage

Place chicken legs in a large pot and cover with water. Add cabbage, carrots, celery, onion, bay leaves, parsley, garlic, thyme, marjoram, salt, and black pepper.

2. Stage

Cover pot and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for about 1 hour. Transfer 1 cup chicken and vegetable broth to a saucepan. Heat broth and pickles over medium-low for about 15 minutes. Return pickle broth to large pot.

3. Stage

Mix flour and sour cream in a bowl. Stir into soup; bring to a boil until thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
