1. 4 bacon strips, diced -

4. 1-1/2 cups soft bread crumbs -
5. 1 large egg, lightly beaten -
6. 1/2 cup water -
7. 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes -
8. 2 to 3 teaspoons salt -
9. 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram -
10. 1/4 teaspoon paprika -
11. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
12. 1 pound ground beef -
13. 1 pound ground pork -
14. 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted -
15. Mayonnaise, lettuce leaves, tomato slices and red onion -

How to cook deliciously - Beef ‘n’ Pork Burgers

1. Stage

In a small skillet, cook bacon, onion and garlic over medium heat until the bacon is crisp; drain and place in a small bowl. Stir in the bread crumbs, egg, water, parsley, salt, marjoram, paprika and pepper. Crumble beef and pork over the mixture and mix well. Shape into eight 3/4-in.-thick patties.

2. Stage

Grill, uncovered, over medium-hot heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160°. Serve on buns with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato slices and red onion.
