5. Pure maple syrup - ½ cup
6. Ground cinnamon - 1 ½ teaspoons
7. Ground nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
8. Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon
9. Rum extract - ½ teaspoon

1. Stage

Bring the rice, water, and salt to a boil in a pot; cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed, 45 to 50 minutes.
