1. Water ¼ cup
2. White sugar 1 teaspoon
3. Fresh green beans 1 pound
4. Garlic, thinly sliced 4 cloves
5. Onion, chopped 2 slices
6. Fresh mint leaves 1 sprig
7. Olive oil 3 tablespoons
8. Cider vinegar 1 tablespoon
9. Minced garlic ½ tablespoon
10. Dried basil ¼ teaspoon
11. Prepared mustard ¼ teaspoon
12. Salt and pepper to taste ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Minty Green Bean Salad

1 . Stage

In a medium saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil, and cook the green beans 10 minutes, or until tender but crisp; drain.

Transfer green beans to a medium bowl, and mix with garlic, onion, and mint.

In a small container with a lid, mix olive oil, cider vinegar, garlic, basil, mustard, salt, and pepper. Shake until well blended. Toss into the green bean mixture.
