1. 2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained -
2. 4 green onions, thinly sliced -
3. 2 plum tomatoes, chopped -
4. 1 medium onion, chopped -
5. 1 large sweet red pepper, chopped -
6. Dressing: -
7. 2 tablespoons olive oil -
8. 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar -
9. 1 tablespoon lemon juice -
10. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
11. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
12. 3/4 teaspoon minced fresh basil or 1/4 teaspoon dried basil -

1. Stage

In a salad bowl, combine the beans, green onions, tomatoes, onion and red pepper.

In a small bowl, whisk the dressing ingredients. Drizzle over vegetables and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
