1. French green lentils, rinsed and drained ½ pound
2. Water 2 cups
3. Dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Corn, drained 1 (14 ounce) can
5. Chopped fresh parsley, or to taste ¼ cup
6. Olive oil ⅓ cup
7. Balsamic vinaigrette ⅓ cup
8. White sugar 1 tablespoon
9. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 1 tablespoon

1 . Stage

Combine lentils and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook lentils at a boil until tender, about 20 minutes; drain.
