1. 1 1/2 c. Morningstar Farms® Meal Starters™ Chik'n Strips -
2. 1/2 c. olive oil vinaigrette salad dressing -
3. 2 tbsp. chopped fresh basil -
4. 1 tbsp. olive oil -
5. 1 large sweet onion -
6. 1 tsp. sugar -
7. 1 red pear -
8. 6 c. mesclun or torn mixed spring greens -
9. 1/4 c. walnut pieces -
10. 1/4 c. crumbled gorgonzola cheese -

How to cook deliciously - Chik'n, Pear, and Gorgonzola on Mesclun

1. Stage

In small bowl stir together salad dressing and basil. Set aside.

2. Stage

In large nonstick skillet heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Stir in onion and sugar. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Stir in pear slices, Chik'n Strips, and remaining oil. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.

3. Stage

Meanwhile, arrange mesclun on 4 serving plates. Top with pear mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts and cheese. Drizzle with salad dressing mixture. Serve immediately.This recipe has been tested and endorsed by Kellogg and Morningstar Farms®.
