2. 1 small red onion -
3. Coarse salt and ground pepper -
4. 1 tsp. sugar -
5. 2 tbsp. red-wine vinegar -
6. 1 clove fresh garlic -
7. 3 tbsp. mayonnaise -
8. 1 1/2 lb. ground beef chuck (80% lean) -
9. 8 brioche or soft dinner rolls -

How to cook deliciously - Bistro Sliders with Pickled Onions

1. Stage

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Add red onion, and cook until softened, 2 minutes. Season with coarse salt and ground pepper. Add sugar and red-wine vinegar; toss to coat. Let mixture cool. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic clove and mayonnaise.

2. Stage

Heat a grill to medium-high. Clean and lightly oil hot grill. Divide ground beef into 8 balls. Press each lightly to form 3/4-inch-thick patties. Season each with salt and pepper.
