Ingredients for - Chocolate Crumble Bars
1. 1 c. plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature -
2. 2 c. brown sugar -
4. 4 tsp. vanilla extract (divided) -
5. 3 c. quick-cooking oats -
6. 2 1/2 c. cups flour -
7. 1 1/2 tsp. salt (divided) -
9. 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk -
10. 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips -
How to cook deliciously - Chocolate Crumble Bars
1. Stage
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
2. Stage
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Add oats, flour, 1 teaspoon salt and baking soda and stir until just combined. Press about two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the baking pan.
3. Stage
In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, chocolate chips, 2 tablespoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook and stir over low heat until the chocolate is completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
4. Stage
Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the oat crust. Then sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the top of the chocolate. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
