1. 1 package yellow cake mix (regular size) -
2. 2 tablespoons water -
3. 1/3 cup butter, softened -
4. 1 egg -
5. 4 cups miniature marshmallows -
6. PEANUT TOPPING: -
7. 1 package (10 ounces) peanut butter chips -
8. 2/3 cup light corn syrup -
9. 1/4 cup butter, cubed -
10. 2 cups crisp rice cereal -
11. 2 cups salted peanuts -
12. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract -

How to cook deliciously - Contest-Winning Peanut Mallow Bars

1. Stage

In a large bowl, beat the cake mix, water, butter and egg until blended (batter will be thick). Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan.

2. Stage

Bake at 350° for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 2 minutes longer or until marshmallows are melted. Place on a wire rack.

3. Stage

In a large saucepan, combine the peanut butter chips, corn syrup and butter; cook and stir over medium-low heat until smooth. Remove from the heat; stir in the cereal, peanuts and vanilla. Spread over marshmallows. Cool completely.
