Ingredients for - Corn Dog Bites
1. 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour, divided -
3. 1 c. cornmeal -
10. 4 hot dogs, sliced into 1" pieces -
11. 2 c. vegetable oil -
How to cook deliciously - Corn Dog Bites
1. Stage
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, milk, cornmeal, sugar, melted butter, egg and baking powder. Stir until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
2. Stage
Roll hot dogs in remaining flour and then into the cornbread mixture.
3. Stage
In a pot or skillet with high sides, add enough oil to be 2” deep. Heat to 350° and fry bites until they are golden on the outside and cooked on the inside, about 4 minutes. Place on a paper towel to drain.
4. Stage
Serve with ketchup and mustard if desired.
