2. Corn tortillas, cut into 6 wedges each 12 (6 inch)
3. Salt to taste 12 (6 inch)

Heat 1/4 inch oil in a large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Working in small batches, fry tortilla wedges in hot oil until crisp, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain on paper towels. Season warm chips with salt.
