Ingredients for - Big B's Collard Greens

1. Chicken stock 1 quart
2. Ham hocks 3 small
3. Onion, chopped 1 large
4. Garlic, minced 4 cloves
5. Crushed red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon
6. Cider vinegar 3 tablespoons
7. Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
8. Water ¼ teaspoon
9. Collard greens - rinsed, trimmed and chopped 1 bunch
10. Salt to taste 1 bunch
11. Hot pepper sauce to taste 1 bunch

How to cook deliciously - Big B's Collard Greens

1 . Stage

Pour chicken stock into a large pot, and add ham hocks onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, vinegar, black pepper, and enough water to cover ham hocks. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer for 1 to 2 hours to create the broth.

2 . Stage

Remove ham hocks from broth. Pull meat from hocks. Add meat and collard greens to the broth. Simmer for 1 to 5 hours, depending on the texture you prefer. Salt to taste, and serve with hot sauce.
