3. Potato, peeled and cubed - 1 large
4. Chopped onion - 1 cup
5. Celery, chopped - 1 stalk
6. Chicken broth - 3 cups
7. Ground ginger - 1 teaspoon
8. Heavy whipping cream - ½ cup
9. Curry powder - 1 teaspoon
10. Salt - ½ teaspoon
11. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon

1. Stage

Heat butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; add carrots, potato, onion, celery, chicken broth, and ginger. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes. Uncover and cool for 15 minutes.
