How to cook deliciously - Christmas tree snack cake
1. Stage
These are the basic products we will need.
2. Stage
Start making the profiteroles. For this purpose, in a bowl combine water, oil, salt. Put it on the stove and bring it to a boil.
3. Stage
As soon as the mass is boiling, reduce the heat and add the sifted flour.
4. Stage
Knead the dough with a spatula until it forms a homogeneous ball that separates well from the walls. Allow to cool slightly.
5. Stage
When the dough has cooled a bit, add the eggs one at a time, i.e. add one and mix well, then add another and mix, and so on with all the eggs. The result is a delicate dough.
6. Stage
Grate cheese on a grater and add it to the batter and mix it.
7. Stage
Using teaspoons, form small balls.
8. Stage
Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at t=200 for 25-30 minutes. Do not open the oven! I had 2 baking trays. I baked in two batches.
9. Stage
That's how they turn out, fluffy and very tasty. I put an olive inside each one.
10. Stage
Now let's make the cream. In a bowl combine the crab sticks, cheese, lemon juice and mayonnaise.
11. Stage
All this mass is mixed with a blender.
12. Stage
We make a paper cone and insert it into the neck of a 3-liter jar for easy formation of a Christmas tree.
13. Stage
One by one, we smear the profiteroles with cream and place them in a cone.
14. Stage
Place the tops of the profiteroles on the paper and the bottoms in the center of the cone. Brush the voids with cream.
15. Stage
That's the kind of billet we got. Take it out on the balcony so it can harden.
16. Stage
The next day I cut the paper and smeared a little mayonnaise on top, so that our ornaments would stick better to the tree.
17. Stage
That's how I "hung" the Christmas toys on the tree. I made them out of pepper and cranberry slices, and the needles out of dill sprigs. You can decorate the tree to your liking.
18. Stage
This is the beauty of the forest. You can cut it into pieces like I did, or you can take it apart into profiteroles as an appetizer.
