1. Diced cooked chicken - 2 cups
2. Cooked bacon strips, crumbled - 4
3. Cucumber, peeled and diced - ½
4. Thinly sliced celery - ½ cup
5. Chopped Granny Smith apple - ¼ cup
6. Olive oil mayonnaise - ¾ cup
7. Reduced-fat crumbled blue cheese - ¼ cup
8. Finely chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia®) - 2 tablespoons
9. Dried basil - 1 tablespoon
10. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
11. Minced fresh ginger root - ½ teaspoon
12. Worcestershire sauce - 1 dash
13. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 dash

How to cook deliciously - Deb's Chicken Salad

1. Stage

Mix chicken, bacon, cucumber, celery, and apple in a large bowl.

2. Stage

Whisk mayonnaise, blue cheese, sweet onion, basil, lemon juice, ginger, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper together in a bowl; pour over the chicken mixture and toss to coat.

Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least 20 minutes.
