1. Vegetable oil - 1 cup
2. Soy sauce - ½ cup
3. Light corn syrup - ½ cup
4. Lemon juice - ¼ cup
5. Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
6. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
7. Garlic salt, or to taste - ¼ teaspoon
8. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces - 4
9. Onions, quartered - 2
10. Fresh chopped mushrooms - 1 (8 ounce) package
11. Green bell pepper, cut into large chunks - 1

How to cook deliciously - Marinated Chicken Kabobs

1. Stage

Whisk together vegetable oil, soy sauce, light corn syrup, lemon juice, sesame seeds, garlic powder, and garlic salt in a medium bowl. Add chicken; stir to coat. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Thread chicken onto skewers alternately with onions, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Pour marinade into a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook until slightly thickened, 5 to 10 minutes.

Place skewers on the preheated grill; cook, turning frequently, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear, 15 to 20 minutes. Baste frequently with boiled marinade during the last 10 minutes.
