1. Butter - ¼ cup
2. Ground venison - 1 pound
3. Cubed beef stew meat - 1 pound
4. Cubed pork stew meat - 1 pound
5. Onion, chopped - 1 large
6. Fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced - 1
7. Chili powder - 3 tablespoons
8. Cayenne pepper - ½ teaspoon
9. Ground cumin - 1 ½ teaspoons
10. Stewed tomatoes, with juice - 2 (14 ounce) cans
11. Tomato sauce - 1 (15 ounce) can
12. Garlic, minced - 6 cloves
13. Beef bouillon, crumbled - 4 cubes
14. Kentucky bourbon - ¼ cup
15. Pilsner-style beer - 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans
16. Water - 2 cups

How to cook deliciously - Drunk Deer Chili

1. Stage

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Cook venison, beef, and pork in melted butter until completely browned.

2. Stage

Add onion and jalapeño; cook until tender. Stir in chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cumin.

3. Stage

Stir in the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, and beef bouillon. Pour bourbon, beer, and water into the mixture and stir. Bring chili to a boil.

Cover pot and reduce heat to medium-low; simmer about 1 hour, stirring frequently.
