Ingredients for - Parmesan Broth

1. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Onion, quartered - 1 medium
3. Garlic, cloves peeled and minced - ½ medium head
4. Fresh thyme sprigs - ½ cup
5. Fresh parsley, or to taste - 10 sprigs
6. Bay leaf - 1 large
7. Whole black peppercorns - ½ teaspoon
8. Dry white wine - 1 cup
9. Water - 8 cups
10. Parmesan cheese rinds - 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Parmesan Broth

1. Stage

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, bay leaf, and peppercorns and saute until garlic is browned, about 3 minutes.

2. Stage

Pour wine into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Cook until liquid has reduced by half, 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Stage

Add water and Parmesan rinds. Simmer until reduced by half, about 2 hours. Remove any solids before using.
