Ingredients for - Red Cabbage

1. Water - ¾ cup
2. Red cabbage, finely shredded - 1 small head
3. Apples - peeled, cored and chopped - 3
4. Distilled white vinegar - 1 cup
5. Packed brown sugar - ¼ cup
6. Butter, divided - 2 tablespoons
7. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
8. Ground allspice - ¼ teaspoon
9. Ground cloves - ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Red Cabbage

1. Stage

Place water in a large saucepan over high heat. Stir in cabbage, apples, vinegar, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender, about 45 minutes.

Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon butter before serving.
