1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Onion, diced - 1
3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
4. Ground turmeric - 1 teaspoon
5. Salt - 1 teaspoon
6. Curry powder - ¾ teaspoon
7. Ground coriander - ¾ teaspoon
8. Sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes - 1 pound
9. Vegetable broth - 4 cups
10. Chopped kale - 4 cups
11. Chickpeas, drained - 1 (15.5 ounce) can
12. Canned coconut milk - 1 cup

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in turmeric, coriander, curry powder, and coriander. Add sweet potatoes; saute for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
