1. Potatoes, peeled and quartered - 4
2. Carrots, cut into large chunks - 1 pound
3. Onion, cut into wedges - 1
4. Water - 3 cups
5. Sugar - 2 tablespoons
6. Cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons
7. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
8. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
9. Bay leaf - 1
10. Corned beef brisket with spice packet, cut in half - 1 (3 pound)
11. Cabbage, cut into wedges - 1 small head

How to cook deliciously - Easy Corned Beef and Cabbage

1. Stage

Place potatoes, carrots, and onion into a 5-quart slow cooker. Combine water, sugar, vinegar, garlic, black pepper, bay leaf, and contents of spice packet in a small bowl; pour over vegetables. Top with beef brisket and cabbage.

Cover and cook on Low until beef and vegetables are tender, 8 to 9 hours. Remove bay leaf before serving.
