1. 8 slices soft white bread -
2. 1/4 c. melted butter -
3. 1/4 c. sugar -
4. 1 tbsp. cinnamon -
5. 3 large eggs -
6. 1/3 c. milk -
7. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg -
8. 2 tbsp. butter -
9. Maple syrup, for dunking -

How to cook deliciously - French Toast Dippers

1. Stage

Slice off crusts of bread and roll flat with a rolling pin.

2. Stage

In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon.

3. Stage

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and nutmeg.

4. Stage

Slather cinnamon mixture on bread and roll up tightly. Dunk roll-ups in egg mixture.

5. Stage

In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add roll-ups and cook until golden, about 2 minutes per side.

6. Stage

Serve with maple syrup for dipping.
