1. Bacon, chopped - 6 slices
2. Onion, diced - 1 large
3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
4. Cabbage, cored and sliced - 1 large head
5. Salt, or to taste - 1 tablespoon
6. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
7. Onion Powder - ½ teaspoon
8. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
9. Paprika - ⅛ teaspoon

1. Stage

Place bacon in a large stockpot and cook over medium-high heat until crispy, about 10 minutes.
