1. Kielbasa sausages, chopped - 2
2. Carrots, diced - 2
3. Celery, chopped - 2 stalks
4. Onion, chopped - 1
5. Crushed tomatoes - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Dried lentils - 2 cups
7. Water - 2 cups
8. Wine - 2 cups
9. Olive oil - ¼ cup
10. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
11. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
12. Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
13. Dried thyme - ½ teaspoon
14. Bay leaf - 1
15. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1
16. Fresh spinach leaves - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Lentil Soup with Sausage

1. Stage

Combine sausages, carrots, celery, onion, tomatoes, lentils, water, wine, oil, garlic, oregano, basil, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper in the bottom of a slow cooker.

2. Stage

Cover and cook on Low until lentils are tender and sausage is no longer pink, 6 to 8 hours.

3. Stage

When ready to serve, stir in spinach and cook until it wilts, 7 to 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
