1. Red bell pepper, cut into strips - 1
2. Green bell pepper, cut into strips - 1
3. Yellow bell pepper, cut into strips - 1
4. White onion, sliced into petals - 1 small
5. Red onion, sliced into petals - 1 small
6. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
7. Dried Italian seasoning - ½ teaspoon
8. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch
9. Hot Italian sausage links - 5 (4 ounce) links

How to cook deliciously - Grilled Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions

1. Stage

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

2. Stage

Combine bell peppers and onions in a large bowl. Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; stir well to coat. Poke 4 holes in each sausage using a toothpick; this will help to prevent them from exploding on the grill.

3. Stage

Place vegetables in a grill basket and cook on preheated grill for 2 minutes. Add sausage directly to the grate and grill for 4 minutes. Flip sausage over, stir vegetables, and grill for 4 minutes more.
