1. Minced onion - ¼ cup
2. Italian-style salad dressing - 1 tablespoon
3. Ground turkey - 1 ½ pounds
4. Italian-seasoned bread crumbs - 1 ¼ cups
5. Garlic, crushed - 5 cloves
6. Italian seasoning - 2 tablespoons
7. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 2 tablespoons
8. Italian-style diced tomatoes - 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
9. Marinara sauce - 1 (26 ounce) jar
10. Dried basil - 2 teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

1. Stage

Cook onion and Italian Dressing in a small sauté pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Combine turkey, bread crumbs, garlic, sautéed onions, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl; mix well.

3. Stage

Combine diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, and dried basil in a second bowl; set aside.

4. Stage

Form 1/2 of the turkey mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and layer them in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour 1/2 of the diced tomato mixture over meatballs. Form remaining turkey mixture into meatballs and layer with remaining tomato mixture.

5. Stage

Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours.
