Ingredients for - Hearts of Palm Salad

1. Hearts of palm, drained and sliced - 3 (14.25 ounce) cans
2. Dry Italian-style salad dressing mix - 2 (.7 ounce) packages
3. White wine or champagne vinegar - ½ cup
4. Water - 6 tablespoons
5. Olive oil - 1 cup
6. Green olives, sliced - 1 (8 ounce) jar
7. Sliced black olives - 1 (6 ounce) can
8. Bacon bits - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Hearts of Palm Salad

1. Stage

In a medium bowl, whisk together the dressing mix, vinegar, and water until well blended. Whisk in olive oil. Add hearts of palm to the bowl, and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.

2. Stage

Before serving, sprinkle the green and black olives, and bacon bits over the salad.
