2. Butter - ½ cup
3. Shortening - ½ cup
4. White sugar - 1 cup
5. Evaporated milk - 1 (5 ounce) can
6. Vanilla extract - 1 tablespoon

1. Stage

Bake cake according to package directions in a 9x13 inch pan. Cool and cut into bars. Cut each bar in half lengthwise to make two layers.
