1. Whole mustard seeds - 2 tablespoons
2. Whole allspice berries - 1 tablespoon
3. Whole coriander seeds - 2 teaspoons
4. Red pepper flakes, or more to taste - 1 teaspoon
5. Ground ginger - 1 teaspoon
6. Bay leaves, crumbled - 2
7. Cinnamon sticks, broken in half - 2
8. Whole cloves - 6

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Pickling Spice

1. Stage

Place mustard seeds, allspice berries, coriander seeds, and pepper flakes into a small glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake to combine. Add ginger to the jar, seal, and shake again.

2. Stage

Add crumbled bay leaves, cinnamon stick halves, and cloves to the jar. Seal and shake once more to combine.

3. Stage

Store in a tightly sealed jar for up to 1 month.
