Ingredients for - Homemade Salsa

1. 1 white onion, quartered -
2. 2 jalapeños, stems removed, halved lengthwise -
3. 2 c. cherry tomatoes, halved -
4. 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil -
5. Kosher salt -
6. Freshly ground black pepper -
7. 3 beefsteak or heirloom tomatoes, quartered -
8. 3 cloves garlic -
9. 1/2 c. fresh cilantro leaves -
10. Juice of 1 lime -
11. 1/2 tsp. ground cumin -
12. Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes  -
13. Tortilla chips, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Salsa

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 400°. On a large baking sheet, toss onion, jalapeños, cherry tomatoes, and oil; season with salt and black pepper. Roast until vegetables are slightly charred, about 20 minutes. 

2. Stage

Transfer onion mixture to a food processor. Add beefsteak tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, and red pepper; season with salt and black pepper. Pulse a few times until mostly blended and slightly chunky.

3. Stage

Transfer salsa to a serving bowl. Serve with chips alongside.
