Ingredients for - Jambalaya

1. 2 tbsp. butter -
2. 1/2 c. onion -
3. 1/4 c. green pepper -
4. 1/4 c. celery -
5. 2 clove garlic -
6. 1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp -
7. 8 oz. andouille sausage -
8. 4 chicken thighs -
9. 2 c. canned chopped tomatoes -
10. 3 bay leaves -
11. Cayenne pepper and salt to taste -
12. 1 c. water -
13. 1 c. raw rice -

How to cook deliciously - Jambalaya

1. Stage

Sauté onion, green pepper, celery, and garlic in butter. Add chicken and sausage and cook for about 5 minutes. Stir in the canned tomatoes and cook an additional 30 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 more minutes. Add seasonings and liquid.

2. Stage

In separate pot, cook rice. Serve jambalaya over hot rice.
