Ingredients for - Jumbo Shrimp and Asparagus

1. Water 2 cups
2. Asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces 2 bunches
3. Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
4. Fresh shrimp, peeled, deveined and cut in half lengthwise 24 large
5. Chopped fresh ginger root 2 teaspoons
6. Soy sauce 3 tablespoons
7. Granulated sugar 2 teaspoons
8. Dry sherry 1 teaspoon
9. Salt to taste 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Jumbo Shrimp and Asparagus

1 . Stage

In a medium saucepan, bring two cups of water to a boil. Cook asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of liquid.

2 . Stage

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Saute the shrimp pieces until the color changes, about 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in asparagus with reserved liquid , and season with ginger, soy sauce, sugar, sherry and salt to taste. Continue to cook for 5 more minutes.
