1. All-purpose flour, unsifted 2 ¼ cups
2. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
3. Salt ½ teaspoon
4. Unsalted butter, softened 1 cup
5. Granulated sugar ¾ cup
6. Brown sugar, packed ¾ cup
7. Eggs 2 large
8. Vanilla extract 2 teaspoons
9. Ghirardelli® Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips 2 cups
10. Walnuts, chopped 1 cup

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Stir flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.

3 . Stage

Combine butter and both sugars in a large mixing bowl; beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy and light in color. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until combined. Add vanilla and mix on low speed until incorporated.

4 . Stage

Gradually blend flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

5 . Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until cookies are golden brown, 9 to 11 minutes, switching racks halfway through.
