2. Peanut butter - 1 ½ cups
3. Packed brown sugar - 2 cups
4. Eggs - 3
5. Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
6. Quick cooking oats - 3 cups
7. Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
8. Baking soda - 2 teaspoons
9. Salt - 1 teaspoon

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

In a mixing bowl, cream the shortening and peanut butter. Add the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
