1. Vegetable oil 5 tablespoons
2. Onions, chopped 2 large
3. Chile pepper, chopped 1
4. Garlic, chopped 5 cloves
5. Lean ground beef 2 pounds
6. Whole peeled tomatoes with liquid, chopped 3 (14.5 ounce) cans
7. Salt 1 ½ teaspoons
8. Freshly ground black pepper 1 teaspoon
9. Ground cumin 1 ½ tablespoons
10. Chili powder ½ tablespoon
11. Paprika 2 tablespoons
12. Dried oregano 2 tablespoons
13. Cinnamon sticks 2
14. Whole cloves 6
15. Red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 2 (15.25 ounce) cans

How to cook deliciously - Chili con Carne II

1 . Stage

In a medium sized stock pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Saute onion, chile pepper and garlic until soft. Add ground beef: cook and stir until meat is browned.

2 . Stage

Pour in tomatoes with liquid, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, oregano, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

3 . Stage

Stir in kidney beans, and cook another 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.
