Ingredients for - Red Enchilada Sauce

1. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
3. Minced onion - 1 teaspoon
4. Dried oregano - ½ teaspoon
5. Chili powder - 2 ½ teaspoons
6. Dried basil - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
8. Salt - ⅛ teaspoon
9. Ground cumin - ¼ teaspoon
10. Dried parsley - 1 teaspoon
11. Salsa - ¼ cup
12. Tomato sauce - 1 (6 ounce) can
13. Water - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Red Enchilada Sauce

1. Stage

Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the onion, oregano, chili powder, basil, ground black pepper, salt, cumin, parsley, salsa and tomato sauce.

Mix together and then stir in the water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
