Ingredients for - Szechuan Beef

1. Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
2. Cornstarch - 2 teaspoons
3. Garlic, minced - 1 clove
4. Crushed red pepper - ¼ teaspoon
5. Sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized strips - 1 pound
6. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
7. Fresh broccoli florets - 3 cups
8. Onions, cut into wedges - 2 small
9. Water chestnuts, drained - 1 (8 ounce) can
10. Chicken broth - ¼ cup
11. Peanuts - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Szechuan Beef

1. Stage

Stir together soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a non-metal bowl. Add steak and toss to coat. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

2. Stage

Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry beef in hot oil until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, onions, and water chestnuts; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Stir in peanuts; cook for 1 minute and serve hot.
