Ingredients for - Ketchup

1. Tomatoes, quartered - 6 large
2. Fennel, chopped - 1 bulb
3. Yellow onion, chopped - 1
4. Garlic - 4 cloves
5. White sugar - ¼ cup
6. Molasses - ¼ cup
7. Red wine vinegar - ¼ cup
8. Whole cloves - 10
9. Whole star anise pods - 2
10. Salt - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Ketchup

1. Stage

In a large saucepan combine tomatoes, fennel, onion, garlic, sugar, molasses, vinegar, cloves, anise pods and salt. Reduce over low heat until mixture becomes very thick.

2. Stage

Puree mixture in a blender and strain through a mesh strainer. Chill and store in refrigerator.
