Ingredients for - Linguini with White Clam Sauce

1. Linguine pasta - 1 (16 ounce) package
2. Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
3. Onion, chopped - 1
4. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
5. All-purpose flour - 3 tablespoons
6. Minced clams, drained with juice reserved - 2 (6.5 ounce) cans
7. Milk - 1 ½ cups
8. White wine - 2 tablespoons
9. Chopped fresh parsley - ½ teaspoon
10. Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
11. Salt - ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Linguini with White Clam Sauce

1. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

2. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until soft and translucent. Stir in flour, then the reserved clam juice. Gradually blend in the milk. Stir in wine and parsley. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Mix in the clams. Spoon over cooked pasta.
