1. Yuca, peeled and sliced lengthwise - 2 pounds
2. Salt - ½ teaspoon
3. Olive oil - ¼ cup
4. Onion, diced - ½
5. Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
6. Fresh lemon juice - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Cuban-Style Yuca

1. Stage

Place yuca into a pan and fill with enough water to cover. Stir in salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, cover, and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain; place yuca on a serving plate.

2. Stage

Meanwhile, place olive oil, onion, garlic, and lemon juice into a pan. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Pour the hot olive oil mixture over the yuca; serve immediately.
