1. Shortening (such as Crisco®), or as needed - 1 ½ teaspoons
2. Rolled oats - 3 cups
3. White sugar - 1 cup
4. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
5. Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
6. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
7. Butter, melted and cooled - ¼ cup
8. Eggs - 2
9. Milk - 3 tablespoons
10. Pure vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 cookie sheets with shortening.
