1. Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
2. Uncooked long-grain rice 1 cup
3. Garlic salt 1 teaspoon
4. Ground cumin ½ teaspoon
5. Chopped onion ¼ cup
6. Chicken broth 2 cups
7. Tomato sauce ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Mexican Rice

1 . Stage

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add rice and season with garlic salt and cumin; cook, stirring constantly, until puffed and golden.

2 . Stage

Add onion; cook and stir until onion has softened. Stir in chicken broth and tomato sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork. Melissa Goff
